Happy Memorial Day!!!!!

We had our church picnic at Poway Lake... the weather was awesome! not too hot!!! but I still didn't go boat paddling coz of the "Filipino" thing of getting dark! LOL...There were plenty of food!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cooked pinakbet...

Okay.. got to move to my other blog.. this next entry is some sort of mind boggling! *glee*

I met an old schoolmate this afternoon at MCAS Miramar... I was with my brother doing grocery shopping at the commisary when suddenly I heard someone called "Ate Abby!"... I turned my back and looked where it came from..she was behind me..smiling...I stared at her trying to figure out where we met or who the heck is she??? she told me, "Hindi mo na ako kilala no?"...I go like," sa LTI? .. She then laughed and told me that her name was Estella...then all of a sudden, I remembered her... we weren't able to chat that long because she is working as a cashier in the base...We just exchanged fone numbers and bid goodbye.

I don't have the best memory remebering names but for sure I will not forget how someone looks.. that's my thing... no wonder my brothers keep on teasing me about this coz all I used are descriptions which reminds me of someone... Actually, I didn't remember her coz she's all changed! She used to be this naive kinda boyish gal and now, she's all girly and stuff! She told me she's been here for almost four years and she lives in our neighborhood! Sometimes, I doubt that "small world" thingie coz I haven't seen her not even once around the supermarket or whatever! Oh well... it's nice to see her...

Shopping wise, I bought this bag that I've been dying to buy since I first saw it at the mall four years ago for $40 ...luckily, I won $20 in the raffle draw at work and my very nice Navy bro added $10 so I can have it! I really can save money everytime I go with him at the base since all their stuff are tax free...See, I saved $10 for this purchase! I still wanted to buy stuff like the Tommy Girl Summer Scent, this armband radio I can use while jogging, and VS lotions/body spray but I managed to control myself...LoL

I am planning to visit the Philippines this year but I'm just gonna be all by myself which is a NONO for me...And since my Philippine passport is expired, I'm just gonna wait til I get my citizenship, to save some money. According to my brother (who's a citizen already), it's easier when you get to the airport because they have this lane especially for citizens...This is not final yet...let's just see what happens next..

'Twas nice experience to attend the commencement this afternoon... My very first time to wear toga and march... No kidding! it was really my first time coz when I was in high school... we didn't wear one instead, we saw our own graduation dress...Anyho, I enjoyed it! It was not like in the Philippines that it'll take forever for the speaker to finish his/her speech... here, their primary focus was on the graduates! giving awards and stuff like that! It also made me think that I need to study more to earn more awards..like joining a sorority or clubs...coz I noticed that those who were members of a sorority/fraternity they get to wear this really cool stuff around their neck which makes someone so distinguished...Oh well... I still have to get my bachelors so who knows...

I had a hunger headache,too in the middle of the ceremony! Can you imagine that... I thought I'm gonna pass out while walking towards the Dean to get my diploma! LOL!

It was definitely a lovely evening!

Finals is finally over!!!!!!!! Uh-huh! Give me a high five!
I've been busy doing my paper and studying and now I deserve a break!

It's graduation day on Friday! I can't wait! I'm so excited!

Yesterday, got a call from the lawyer... our case has been settled...twas a good news!

Oh btw, my friend turned 24 today!.. Happy Birthday, Joyce!

Three more days and the Spring term is finally over...I am so busy doing papers and reviewing for the finals...and also, my brother's gonna be visiting this coming long weekend which I am so looking forward to....

to glory following a sudden heart attack. The widow decided to check her
e-mail, expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading
the first message, she fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room,
found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife Subject: I've Arrived Date: 16 May 2002
I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and
you are allowed to send e-mails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and
have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for

Dang!!! I ACED my essay test!!! It was perfect!!!! I am so happy!

Two more weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCHOOL is over!!!

I still have no idea what to do this summer...taking some class is the farthest thing that I'm gonna do...I want to travel... my friend in North Carolina is inviting me to visit her... I wanna also wanna go to Bahamas but I'll probably wait til I get my citizenship....Oh well...I just want to have a very memorable and colorful summer...

Got a new fone!... after 4 years of my love and affection to my Nokia 3300....It's time for us to say goodbye.... LOL... I have to let go of my very first celfone because she is sick...hahaha! I mean it was broken!...I'm not gonna spend money on a celfone for luxury!...I don't have a choice... one of the things I can't live without!

I bought my mom a nice church dress for Mother's day.....

We went to the hospital yesterday.... Bong's 3 year old nephew had a minor surgery... poor kid... he didn't eat two meals because of the procedure.... and because of that..I was able to see what my instructor told me about pediatric routine....I mean how hard it is to see a kid suffering from something... it seems so unbearable...But the good news is..he's recovering...

I will be heading to the mall today to buy something for my mother... later!

I can't believe that FRIENDS is over!!!! It has been the major talk of the country this last couple of days... they were everywhere... and even in the news! I was glued in front of the TV since last night... and this morning... I can't wait til it's 8PM....
The ending was great! it's awesome.... Rachel and Ross getting back together... Monica and Chandler with their adopted twins... Mike and Phoebe planning to start a family....and of course Joey with his new baby duck and baby chicken!...
I guess I have to move on with my life,too! (hahaha! I sounded like I am sooo broken hearted!)....The good thing is I can now enroll for Thursday night classes! Hahaha!

Sorry but I just can't help to talk about it....it has been part of my life for 10 years!!! *sigh*

I was so stressed out this morning coz I have been a very bad girl.... I didn't study for my test til this morning... I was even in a bad mood around my fellas at home coz I don't want to be bothered.....

Darn! the test was not that hard as I expected!... it only consist of basic knowledge about the topic... I guess my professor made it easier this time... I felt so good afterwards coz I know I Aced it.... I need to get an A so I can get out of the class with an A....

One more day... my fave TV show is gonna end.... I feel so sad...

My aunt is expecting!!!! We are so happy!!! another cousin!!! I hope it's a girl... because I am the only girl in my mom's side....it'll be really great to have a baby cousin! I am so excited!!! hahaha! As if I am the one who is pregnant! hahaha!

I talked to my attorney, he's gonna take care of everything.. (HE BETTER!)....

Mahn! it's hard to lose weight!....I mean...it takes time...and I need a lot of patience and perseverance! I have to reach my target or else I will be in big trouble once I visit my doctor!...

As of this moment, we are experiencing a "mini" heatwave! Darn it! the temperature is 90+........

Oh! I forgot! It's Mother's Day on Sunday.... I don't know what to give my mom.... any ideas?

Holy Moly! I woke up this morning missing the Philippines.... Maybe this has something to do about last night... we attended a birthday party and they have TFC (The Filipino Channel).... things had been so different.... I miss my life then... I still can't deny that my roots are from there....

I got to get going, my mom is cleaning the bathroom and the "bleachy" smell is starting to give me nasal congestion! Bye!
