Deng! I didn't even noticed that today is the last day of the month.... Wow!!!! Tomorrow's the 1st????? I wonder how much am I gonna get in my income tax return...hahaha.. this is just a random thought...

I am so happy that my gal pal PJ called... He always makes me laugh....I miss you DUDE... I hope we can finish school ASAP so we could fly to New York...

At last, I sent all the pics to my froggy buddy....Yey!!!!

Arrghhh... thats' right... wake me up at around 5 AM... call me on my celfone... bug me and tell me that no one showed up for work.... DUH?????? am I the store manager.... 12 messages were left both on my celfone and my home fone... plus...3 text messaging regarding work....
I am just so pissed off and I am soooo fuming.... I told my boss that my brother and I can't go to work for the whole wee coz of the accident...we were so gonna be in trouble if we disobey that....sheesh...they made a compromise that they won't clock us in and when the accident issue is over, they'll just fix our time clocks...I don't wanna be racist or something but this is just so unacceptable.....but some Filipinos can definitely think of something stupid like this.....

Can't they understand the situation???????

But the good hearted me, after all the arguments and stuff over the fone, I finally decided to help them out... I don't have a car so they'll gonna fix everything for us.... I will turn down the offer of becoming the assistant manager with this kinda problem at stake....

I need to send the pics to my froggy buddy but my ISP is sooooooo bothering me!!!! sheesh... Do yah think I need to get DSL, cable or something... it is pissing me off....

My CNA buddies and I went to lunch...we went to ONAMI...I'm not really a SUSHI fan but this is what you get when you want to be flexible...Anyways, I had my SUSHI 101...hahahaha!!! the basics of sushi eating!...I am a pretty good student.. they told me to take it easy when using the WASABI coz it definitely clears your sinus! hahahaha!!! I enjoyed it so much that I'm gonna treat my parents and my brothers to dinner on this same restaurant on Valentines day... I'd rather spend this "lovers" day as most of the people refer to...to my dear family than some guy that I don't feel like dating...

Monday, the 26th of January
aajao, a PEx friend of mine was able to make it here in San Diego!!!!! Woohoo!!!! hey take note "was able to make it"... LOL... I still can't believe it! handsdown for you my dear froggy buddy!
He was supposed to be here at 7:20 PM but because of the snow storm, his flight was delayed....Then he said he's gonna be here at 10:00 PM....still... there was no JON at the airport! .... While waiting, my brother and I went back to the car to take a snooze..........11:15 PM (I think) got a call...yeah....he finally arrived!
My brother and I were so excited to see him.... our very first PEx EB!!!!!

We headed to his INN...darn! we're lost!!!!! I hate that MSN driving directions....it led us no nowhere! grrrr....oh well, we still managed to find it....whew! He offered us to just stay for the night but of course, we're still "shy"....LOL!

So after settling him in to make sure that he's alright and comfortable....we bounced.....

approximately 12:30 midnight
The most memorable thing happen to us while we were on the way home.... WE GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT!!!!.....we had a green light and suddenly, out of nowhere, this white van came rushing towards my left and we're going to crash.....BANG! The car spinned....the left side of my car was wrecked....side air bags inflated.....left windows shattered....It happened so fast...I go like "Am I gonna live?"... Thank God, He definitely protected us....we didn't get any bruises nor any visible blood in our body! I totally considered it as a miracle! ....
We're still gonna see a doctor though, for sure.... but as of now, we're fine...

So we called our mom at home to tell her what happen....my dad was not home and no one was able to pick us up... and for goodness sake, it was so so so late and we didn't bother to call our relatives... but we did bother our visitor...Hahaha!!! we spent the night with him.....
He's so nice he bought us breakfast from Denny's... We slept at around 3:00 AM


27th of January
My uncle drove us home...we asked JON to just stay with us....at least we can think of something to do to make his stay here in Daygo memorable! :p

I was so sad that we weren't able to go to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS as planned coz of the accident...(Hey buddy, I felt so bad but maybe we can just go there next time, huh? :) )

* we went to JOLLIBEE for brunch
* went shopping at UTC...
* ate our lunch at the food court in the mall...
* went back home to take a nap/rest
* ate at CHOWKING for dinner
* went grocery shopping at the Filipino supermarket
* planned to see a movie but ended up renting movies... (on the side note, I really enjoyed wathing THE DEBUT....)


Today
We went back to the mall to exchange some stuff....had a nice chat while drinking coffee....
Around 2 PM, we started heading to the airport....( Sheesh, I just don't want to think about the accident but unluckily, we caught another minor one...*sigh*...)
Then.... time to say goodbye.... It was so nice to meet you in person.... We had fun... and hope you do ,too! Take Care my froggy buddy....


another side note.....
I've been very busy this afternoon answering and making fone calls...I hope I get my car back ASAP especially that school will be starting next week....I am scared to drive all by myself though... :(

I had a very nice day....... a very relaxing one,too!!!!!!
It's my day off and Mahn! I forgot the feeling of having enough time for yourself...
I woke up at 10 AM...did my little TAEBO goin...... then had a very luxurious bath!!!... with all the scented candles and soft music...This was so great!
Then later on I cooked our dinner....broiled salmon....
Sat in front of the TV... and watched my favorite movie Cutting Edge....

Hi!!! I just finished watching FRIENDS...Darn! I can't help to shed tears....I'll surely miss it!!!....the episode was more on the flashbacks about the apartment...

It's bragging time! Oh yeah baby!!!
Ha! I got a perfect score on our final test this afternoon! WOOHOOO!!!! I can't even believe it at first coz I thought I missed one...I better get something from my boss or maybe from the company I am working for...LOL....

The best part was...this third day which was also the last day for my BSM class...Mahn! we had new instructor....His name was Luis..and he's Mexican-American...He's sooo adorable!!!...I didn't feel sleepy for the whole 8 hours...I was just looking him straight in the eyes while he was doin his lecture...He's already 31 though but still single...oh well.... My first crush...hey! wait! first crush who was Mexican-American...LOL

The second day of my BSM class went great... although, we have to drive all the way to Oceanside... I'm gonna ask my store manager if she can give me some gas money... hahahahaha....

Oh... I forgot to mention that Jennifer Aniston won the People's Choice Award for female best actress....and of course, FRIENDS my favorite tv series took home the People's Choice Most Favorite Comedy series...!!!!! I am sad that this year's gonna be their last season.. oh well...at least I won't be busy during Thursday nights anymore.....

I can't find time to finish my other blog...whew!

I received a bad news today... but as I promised myself... I need to turn this bad news into a positive feeling....The issue regarding my transcripts seemed to be unending... "Hey Abby you can get over it and move on with the process, I'm sure you'll make it!" that's my motivational force cheering for me!

About work, I attended the Basic Management Skills class at McDonald's Corporation... wherein I was able to interact with my co managers as well as the assistant managers...This is the first step before you become a 2nd assistant store manager.... I had fun though...I was expecting it'll be a very boring class but then it turned out to be GREAT.... I enjoyed all the activities... and I didn't even thought that I will be involve in class discussions....I was so surprised when the instructor called my name to stay for a couple of minutes before our lunch break... DArn! I thought I failed the assessment test... but what I didn't know was ...I was chosen to be part of a mini skit to be presented on Thursday, which is the last day for the BSM class....ME???? yes MEEE!!! it's gonna be 4 of us who'll get to do the acting and stuff... IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS!!!!!!!!
This is gonna be my first time...yes I was a member of the Theater Arts Club when I was in college but that was way way way back in the Philippines....This is my chance to get out of my nutshell that I was in for 4 years....Ohhhh... It's gonna be fun!!!!

My froggy buddy told me that he's gonna be here on the 26th...actually, he was planning to be here on the 19th as I chat with him last night...things change...I still don't know where we'll be goin... but for sure...I'm gonna TREAT him at JOLLIBEE...This is mine buddy... it's gonna be my welcome treat for yah! so better bring your butt here in Daygo! :p...

Michelle Kwan did it again! I watched US Figure Skating last night... and Kwan won the first place...This is one of my favorite sports....and I admire Kwan... she's my favorite figure skater yah know...She's so great and so graceful, too!!!! If I will be given a chance to be blessed with any sports.... I will definitely choose figure skating! Hahahahaha!!!!! Too bad... I'm not even 1% qualified! hahahaha

Oh yeah! I haven't finish my other blog yet....I rented a movie last Friday after my very tiring workout! and just chilled and slacked off by the couch! I've seen The Italian Job... it's alright....

It makes me smile when my buddies for whatever aspect of how I deal with the world reminds me about stuff....and I think that defines me for being ME!...
Last night, got a text message from my CNA buddy reminding me not to forget to watch FRIENDS... it's really nice to know and get close to someone when you share something in common... at least you don't find the time to be boredcoz you know you can talk about the thing you share forever!...
This gives me the habit to never give up talking to someone even when he/she can be boring as hell...I want to be a very good conversationalist... I want people to know that when they talk to me, they won't be bored.. and also that when I talk...words uttered makes sense....
But the problem with me is that I am afraid to make the first move of talking to someone...and what the heck is that??? Any tips on how am I gonna get over with this????

I did a very stupid thing today....and I am blaming it for waking up at the wrong side of the bed....

I am off today so I thought I will have all the time in the world to fix my blog but guess what happen... I just PExed.

I turned in two resumes online at Children's Hospital...come what may....

I dropped all of my classes at SDSU and filed a leave of absence...I checked my waitlisted class online at a community college and I was so glad that I went 5th instead of 7th... I am very sure that I'll get in for Physiology this spring...
I heard from my aunt that she was able to get a copy of my transcripts and it'll take a month before she can send them all to me... I am so thankful!!!! coz last Monday I called the school and they're giving me answers that I cannot get any more copies... I asked for the head office's number so I can ask them why in the world can't they give me another copy...The registrars were very rude at first, but I told them about the whole nine yards about how the school system works here in the US...and there's the enlightenment...

I called Lolah Jary last night.... and as usual, we had a very CHEESY chat! LOL!

I've been browsing the internet for jobs....I went to Monstertrak.com and I was glad that SDSU had access to it...I posted my resume at SignOnSanDiego.com and CalJobs aside from the one on Monstertrak...
I made up my mind whether I'm gonna go for a semester leave at SDSU or be a full time student... since I am not done with my Physiology which is also one of the prerequisites for Nursing in some other school, I'm just gonna go look for another job. I'm just gonna take Physiology at a community college while working two jobs.... and hopefully by Fall semester, I have enough money to at least help me out with my tuition coz for sure I need to give up work once I'm into the program. And also, I will be able to pay off all my credit cards in no time.
Oh well, I hope this works for me...I told my parents about my plans and they told me it's a good plan, they also stated that at least by saving some money, I will lessen my the amount I need to loan for college...they were really supportive of me...My dad wanted me to go to school full time though so I can finish school right away...but then as the eldest among their kids, I have responsibility to help them out with bills...it's not easy living here in the US, at least in some way I could help them lessen the burden....

So, I won't be quitting at McDonalds yet, I will still gonna work part time and I will accept the promotion that they're offering me...it's gonna be really tough with all the responsibilities but they can be good challenges as well....
